Boost (p)
EN 14
The power can be set to 9 levels. This hob also has a 'boost' setting
which is indicated by a 'p' on the display.
• Place the pan in the middle of a cooking zone.
• Press the On/Off button.
You will hear a single beep and a '0' appears in the display next
to the cooking zone concerned. If you don't do anything else, the
cooking zone will switch off automatically after 10 seconds.
• Press the - or + button to set the desired power level. The cooking
zone starts automatically at the level that has been set (if a pan has
been detected).
▷ Adjust the power with the - and + button: press on the + button
for higher power and the - button for lower power.
Switching off one cooking zone
One cooking zone is switched on. The display shows a power level
between 1 and 9, or "P".
Press the On/Off button.
If the hob doesn't detect a pan with iron content after a power level has
been set, the display will continue to flash and the cooking area will
remain cold. If no pan with iron content is placed on the zone within
one minute, the cooking zone will switch off automatically (also refer to
pages 11 and 12; "Pans").
After intensive use, the cooking zone used may stay hot for several
minutes. As long as the cooking zone is still hot an "H" will be visible in
the display.
You can use the 'boost' function to cook at the highest power level for
a short period of time (max. 5 minutes).
The boost function is not available in the connection function!
