DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
Foreseen use
The automatic distributor is exclusively for the dispensing of drinks, pre-
pared mixing food substances with water (by infusion as far as concerns
espresso coffee).
For this purpose use products declared as suitable by the manufacturer for
automatic distribution in open containers. The drinks are made in specific
plastic cups automatically dispensed by the machine. Where foreseen, also
the spoon for mixing the sugar is dispensed.
The drinks must be consumed immediately and in no case are to be kept for
subsequent consumption.
5.1
BASIC OPERATING PRINCIPLES
CUP DISPENSING
– This is the first operation performed by the machine (unless "no cup"
pre-selection is selected).
– The motor inside the cup dispenser moves the plastic gears to separate
the cup and let it fall into the cup ring inside the dispensing / pick-up
compartment (Fig. 5.1).
N.B. The cup dispenser moves the standard cup or the 25-cl long-drink cup.
– The presence of the cup is detected via a sensor which activates dispen-
sing.
When dispensing 25cl long-drinks, only use SP 80-361HUHTAMAKI cups.
ESPRESSO COFFEE
This process functions only the models equipped with the coffee espresso
group (brass or plastic), after the cup and sugar dispensing processes have
been effected.
– the grinder is activated until it reaches the dose of ground coffee set by
the doser (Fig.5.2)
– the doser electromagnet is activated , causing the opening of the door
and consequent fall of the coffee into the brew chamber
– the rotation group geared motor brings it into the dispensing position and
simultaneously compresses the ground coffee (Fig.5.3 - Fig.5.4).
– the pump that dispenses the quantity of programmed water and that is
controlled by a specific electronic device, (volume meter), extracting the
water from the coffee boiler(Fig.5.5).
– the coffee group geared motor is activated again so as to bring again
into standby position ; during this movement the used coffee grounds
are expelled
The sequence of these operations (grinding and coffee dispensing) could
occur in inverse order according to the type of programme used.
SPOON DISPENSING
This process is activated only in the versions where the spoon dispenser is
foreseen; In these versions it is possible to select the spoon in the selections
without sugar and/ or in the instant selections.
-
the geared motor that operates the spoon release device is activated
making the spoon fall into the cup. (Fig.5.6).
INSTANT DRINKS
This process is activated when the cup and spoon dispensing processes have
been completed.
According to the type drink requested and to the distributor model, several
of the various processes described here below can be activated.
– If present, the whipper motor is activated (Fig.5.7)
-
The electro valve fixed on the soup boiler (Fig.5.8) or on the coffee boiler
(Fig.5.9). it is activated to introduce into the mixer the programmed water
quantity.
-
The instant product geared motor activates the helicoidal screw conveyor
so as to dispense the quantity of product programmed into the mixer (in
some versions several products can be processed in the same mixer such
as milk and chocolate) (Fig.5.10)
-
Once the preset water and powder quantity has been preset has been
supplied, the mixer is disabled after a time (T) set during the programming.

ACCESSOIRES
A series of accessories can be mounted on the automatic dispensing machine
to vary performance.
The assembly kits are supplied with installation and testing instructions to
ensure safe operation of the machine.
WARNING
Should non-approved kits be used, the manufacturer cannot guarantee
compliance with the safety standards, in particular for alive components.
The manufacturer disclaims all liability and warranties in connection with the
use of non-approved components.
Installation and testing operations must be performed only by
qualified personnel with specific knowledge of the operation of the
vending machine, both in terms of electrical safety and hygiene and
health regulations.
TOPPING PRODUCT DISPENSER (Optional)
-
This process is only activated when this option is selected (e.g. chocolate
chips or muesli).
Once the requested drink has been dispensed, the machine keeps on hold
until the topping product dispenser releases the product selected.
Then the door opens up automatically and the user can pick up the drink.
Ambient BIB Kit (Optional)
The machine can be equipped with an Ambient BIB kit for dispensing two
syrup flavours (at ambient temperature) in drinks whose recipe contemplates
this addition.
The kit consists of 2 syrup pumps (1, Fig. 5.11) connected to two intake
tubes (2), which come with a specific tap fitting (3) either for connection to
the syrup pockets or immersed directly in a syrup container.
Proceed as follows to connect a syrup pocket with a specific fitting to the kit:
- Connect the tube tap fitting to the coupling on the pocket (Fig. 5.12).
- Rotate the screw completely to open the valve of the pocket (Fig. 5.13).
Connecting the alternative tap (Fig. 5.14)
- Open the tap head and rotate by 45°.
- Connect the tap fitting by inserting it from the bottom onto the bag coupling.
- Close the head of the tap fitting.
- Rotate the screw completely to open the valve of the pocket.
Vandal-proof coin insertion
The vandal-proof coin-inserting system operates as follows:
Lei700 Plus 2 cups machines are equipped with a specific vandal-proof coin-
inserting unit (1, Fig. 5.15), which clears the duct from any objects inserted
and returns the coins inserted by the user if they failed to reach the coin box.
Proceed as follows to insert a coin and select the desired drink:
-
Take hold of the coin inserting tab and pull it downwards (Fig. 5.16) until
the coin slot is completely uncovered (Fig. 5.17).
-
At the same time, the system lowers the base of the internal coin chute
(Fig. 5.18), so as to clear the coin duct from any objects inserted (e.g.
tampering or vandalism).
With the coin-inserting unit fully lowered, a microswitch informs the
electronic control unit that this function has been enabled.
-
When the coin has been inserted into the slot and the tab has been re-
leased, the coin-inserting unit closes autonomously while the coin chute
returns to the home position.
If the duct is clear, the coin reaches the coin box and when the required
amount has been reached, you can select the desired drink. If the required
amount is not inserted within a set time after microswitch activation, the
electronic control unit automatically activates the change-giver motor and
any coins left in the chute are expelled through the coin return slot.
