Switch on the appliance at the control panel� The
appliance automatically performs 2 starting attempts
(initial start and repeat) per switch-on procedure
with a run time of 2 minutes in each case� If no
flame is detected after the repeat start, the appliance
switches to fault and has to be switched off and on
again at the control panel�
After a total of 15 unsuccessful starting attempts
(initial and repeat start) with no flame, the system is
blocked� Customer Service must unlock it� Contact
the Truma Service Centre or one of our authorised
Service Partners (see www�truma�com)�
Check fuel lines and connections for leaks after fill-
ing the fuel lines�

Switching on
WARNING
Risk of poisoning from exhaust gases
The heater's exhaust can be toxic in enclosed
spaces (e�g� garages, workshops)� If the vehicle
is parked in closed rooms:
Switch the heater off on the control panel�
Disable the time switch / timer function�
Do not switch the heater on remotely via the
app�

The interior can be heated either with or without water,
depending on the setting�
Combi D E
The interior can be heated in diesel, electrical or mixed
mode, either with or without water, depending on the
setting�
Check whether the line power fuse at the campsite
is adequate for the 900 W (3�9 A) or 1800 W (7�8 A)
that has been selected on the control panel�
DANGER
Risk of fire from overheating of the exten-
sion cable for power input
Completely unwind cable from a cable drum�
Check that the wall cowl is unobstructed� Remove
any blockages�
If necessary, fill the water container with water (refer
to "Filling the water container")�
Switch on the appliance on the control panel�
If there is smoke at the wall cowl for longer than
1 minute, switch off the appliance�
5.10 Hot water supply
WARNING
Scalding from hot water
The water in the water container can reach
temperatures of up to 70 °C� If the cold and hot
water taps are separate with no mixer tap, there
is a risk of scalding�

Use a mixer tap / thermostatic mixer
To withdraw water in a controlled manner,
open the mixer tap / thermostatic mixer in
the middle position�
5.11 Switching off
The Combi D must only be switched off via the control
panel listed in accessories or via the associated apps�
NOTICE
Damage to the appliance due to switching
off procedure being interrupted
Switch the heater off on the control panel�
Do not disconnect the power supply while
the appliance is running�
Wait until you no longer hear the fan�
Switch the heater off on the control panel�
Wait until you no longer hear the fan (this can take
up to 5 minutes)�
During this time, do not disconnect the heater from
the power supply�
NOTICE
Damage to the appliance caused by water
freezing in the water container
If there is a risk of frost, drain the water�

safety / drain valve is open.
Possible cause: Safety / drain valve drainage socket
blocked�
