Fig 7
While the heater is in operation, a distance (Abb 7-a)
of at least 1 m from a wall, building, tent, vehicle, etc
must be maintained This allows the wall cowl to reli-
ably draw in fresh air (Abb 7-1) and blow out exhaust
gases (Abb 7-2)
Before initial use, be sure to flush the entire water
supply thoroughly with clean water

Room temperature sensor
To measure the room temperature, an external room
temperature sensor is located in the vehicle The posi-
tion of the sensor is determined by the vehicle manu-
facturer depending on the vehicle model For more de-
tails, refer to the operating instructions of your vehicle
Fig 8
The temperature setting on the control panel depends
on personal heating requirements and the design of the
vehicle, and must be determined individually
5.4
Window switch
A window switch (Fig 9-1) can be installed in the ve-
hicle; this is absolutely necessary if the wall cowl is in-
stalled below a window that can be opened
When the window is opened, the window switch inter-
rupts the heater operation so that no poisonous exhaust
fumes enter the interior The window switch must not
be manipulated
