Cardiovascular diseases may cause incorrect measurements and/
or impair the device's measurement accuracy. The same also ap-
plies to low blood pressure, diabetes, circulatory problems and
dysrhythmia, as well as chills and shaking.
The measurements you take are only intended for your information
- they do not replace a medical examination! Discuss the results with
your doctor and do not try to come to your own medical conclu-
sions (regarding medication and dosages) based on said results.
Repeat the measurement process if there is reason to doubt the
measured results.
Only use the monitor on people whose upper arm circumference
fits within the specifications for the device.
There is no need to calibrate or service the device.
The device must not be used while the patient is having an MRI scan.
General precautions
ATTENTION! Potential damage to the device. The blood pres-
sure monitor is made up of precision components and electronic
components. The accuracy of the measurements and the service
life of the device depend on the device being used with a due
amount of care.
Protect the device from impacts, moisture, dirt, severe temperature
fluctuations and direct sunlight.
Bring the device to room temperature before taking measurements.
If the measuring device has been stored near to the maximum or
minimum storage and transport temperature and is brought into an
environment with a temperature of 20 °C, it is recommended that
you wait approx. 2 hours before using the measuring device.
