Warning and safety notes
General warnings
To ensure that results can be compared, always measure blood
pressure at the same time of day.
Rest for approx. five minutes before every measurement.
If you wish to undertake multiple measurements on the same
person, wait for five minutes between taking each measurement.
You should not eat, drink, smoke or be physically active in the
30 minutes before each measurement.
Do not use the sphygmomanometer in conjunction with a high-fre-
quency surgical unit.
Ensure that the arm is not functionally impaired when inflating the
cuff.
Blood circulation should not be restricted by the blood pressure
monitor for an unnecessary amount of time. Remove the cuff from
the arm if the device malfunctions.
Avoid mechanically restricting, compressing or kinking the cuff
tubing.
Store the tubing out of the reach of children to prevent strangulation.
Avoid sustained pressure to the cuff, as well as frequent measure-
ments. Curtailing the blood flow can lead to injuries.
The blood pressure monitor can only be operated with batteries.
The blood pressure monitor is automatically switched off to save
battery power if no button is touched for 30 seconds.
The device is only intended for the purpose described in these
instructions for use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage
caused by improper or negligent use.
