HOW IT WORKS
"Area View" gives the driver an all-round view of the immediate area around the vehicle.
With the help of four cameras the immediate area around the vehicle is imaged and
transmitted directly to the display of the radio or radio navigation system.
SYSTEM INFORMATION
• Real-time video images of the immediate area around the vehicle transmitted into the
cockpit
• Four cameras, each with 180° wide-angle lenses in the front, rear and side areas
• Various selectable perspectives for providing assistance according to situation
• Visual and audible warning signals emitted on recognition of obstacles on the road
• Assistance in difficult manoeuvres such as when hitching up and manoeuvring a trailer
or driving off-road
