Rear Assist
HOW IT WORKS
The "Rear Assist" reversing camera displays the area behind the vehicle and thus assists the
driver when reversing.
SYSTEM INFORMATION
• The system is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged
• A camera integrated in the rear provides pictures of the bumper and the area behind,
which are displayed on the screen of the infotainment system
• Coloured lines are superimposed to provide additional orientation:
• green lines = area behind the vehicle, yellow lines = path with the current steering
angle, red line = stopping line
• The closer to the obstacle, the faster the signals sound
• A continuous sound indicates that the distance from the obstacle is less than 30 cm
• The distance to obstacles is additionally displayed graphically on the screen of the
infotainment system
