PREPARATIONS
1.Initial position (Fig.1, Fig. 2, all valves closed)

2. Refer to the vehicle manual for specifica-
tions and quantity of antifreeze. Open the cap
of the new tank at the rear of the unit, add an-
tifreeze of the appropriate quantity (Max.12L)
through a funnel and tighten the tank cap to
seal it (Fig. 3).

3. Connect compressed air (Pressure 5-10bar,
air valve remains closed).

4. Determine a suitable exchange method for
the vehicle.
4.1 Exchange without disconnection is recom-
mended as it is faster and more environmen-
tally friendly. But unfortunately, not all cooling
systems can be exchanged without disassem-
bly. The easy way to judge if a cooling sys-
tem is suitable for exchange without discon-
nection is to check if the bottom hose of the
overflow tank is located exactly under the lid
of the overflow tank itself, to allow the deep
hose of the conical adapter to reach the bo-
ttom hose. As shown in the following picture:
