Empty and flush the fresh water tank.
Clean the fresh water filter.
Clean the float.
For a temporarily shut-down device with lead-acid
battery: Perform equalization charging of the bat-
tery.
Check battery poles for oxidation, brush off if neces-
sary. Make sure the connection cables are firmly in
place.
Clean the seals between the waste water tank and
the cover, check for leaks and replace if necessary.
Only with R cleaning head: Clean the brush tunnel.
Only with R cleaning head: Pull the water distribu-
tion strip off the cleaning head and clean the water
channel.
Check the acid density of the cells if the lead batter-
ies are not maintenance-free.
For longer downtime periods, shut the device down
with fully charged batteries. Fully charge the battery
at least once a month.
Annually
Have the prescribed inspection performed by Cus-
tomer Service.
Maintenance work
Cleaning the coarse dirt filter
1. Open the waste water tank cover.

2. Pull the coarse dirt filter upwards and off.
3. Rinse off the coarse dirt filter under running water.
4. Reinsert the coarse dirt filter into the waste water
tank.
Cleaning the water distribution strip
1. Push the locking lever to the left and simultaneously
pull the water distribution strip away from the clean-
ing head.

2. Remove the water distribution strip from the clean-
ing head.
3. Clean the water distribution strip.
4. Fit the left side of the strip into the cleaning head.
5. Pivot the water distribution strip towards the clean-
ing head and latch it into place on the right-hand
side.
Cleaning the fresh water filter
1. Drain the fresh water.
2. Unscrew the fresh water tank cap.

3. Pull out the fresh water filter and rinse with clear water.
4. Insert the fresh water filter.
5. Fit the fresh water tank lock.
Turn over or replace the worn suction lips
The suction lips must be turned over or replaced when
worn out.
The suction lips can be turned 3 times until all 4 edges
are worn.
1. Remove the suction bar.
2. Unscrew the star handles.

3. Pull out the inner part of the suction bar.
4. Open the tension lock.
5. Remove the strap.
6. Release the suction lips from the inner part.

7. Press the turned or new suction lips onto the knobs
of the inner part of the suction bar.
8. Attach the strap.
9. Push the inner part of the suction bar into the upper part.
10. Screw in and tighten the star handles.
Replacing the disc brush
Note
Replace the disc brushes when the bristle length has
reached 10 mm.
1. Press the raise/lower cleaning head lever down and
latch it towards the right.
2. Push the brush replacement pedal down.
3. Pull the disc brush sideways and out from under-
neath the cleaning head.
4. Hold the new disc brush under the cleaning head,
then press upwards and latch it into position.
Replacing the roller brushes
Note
Replace the roller brushes when the bristle length has
reached 10 mm.
1. Press the raise/lower cleaning head lever down and
latch it towards the right.
2. Press the Brush replacement button.

3. Pivot the bearing cover to the right.
4. Pull out the roller brushes.
5. Position the new front roller brush in the bearings.
6. Position the new rear roller brush in the bearings.
7. Pivot back the bearing cover and latch it into place.

1. Pull out the push rod locking pin on the side and turn
it (2x).
2. Hold the orbital head by the handle and swivel it up-
wards as far as it will go.
Note
The orbital head engages firmly in this position thanks
to the locking pin.
3. Slowly remove the pad from the pad drive board.

4. Align the new pad with the centre lock.
5. Press the pad firmly onto the pad drive board.

6. Hold the orbital head by the handle, pull out the lock-
ing pin suspension, swivel the orbital head back into
the working position and allow the locking pin sus-
pension to slide back into the original position while
twisted.
7. Lock the push rod locking pin into the sliding bush-
ing by positioning the head towards the welding as-
sembly and turning the locking pin handles (2x).
Note
Ensure that the locking pin is fully engaged.
8. Press the handle down to the stop.

uminium adapter (6x).
5. Release the screw on the centre lock (3x).
6. Replace the pad drive board with brush.
7. Screw on the pad drive board with aluminium adapt-
er (6x).

8. Hold the orbital head by the handle, pull out the lock-
ing pin suspension, swivel the orbital head back into
the working position and allow the locking pin sus-
pension to slide back into the original position while
twisted.
9. Lock the push rod locking pin into the sliding bush-
ing by positioning the head towards the welding as-
sembly and turning the locking pin handles (2x).
Note
Ensure that the locking pin is fully engaged.
10. Press the handle down to the stop.
Troubleshooting guide
DANGER
Inadvertently starting up device
Risk of injury
Set the program switch to "0" prior to all work on the de-
vice.
Remove the Intelligent Key prior to all work on the de-
vice.
Pull out the charger mains plug.
Drain and dispose of the waste water and fresh wa-
ter.
Contact Customer Service in the case of malfunc-
tions that cannot be corrected using this table.
