Adjusting the rinse aid level
1. Press the Power button for 3 seconds to switch
the appliance on, and within 60 seconds, press
the Rinse button for 5 seconds to enter the setting
mode. The rinse aid indicator light will flash. The
digital display shows the set level (factory setting is
level 3).
2. Press the Rinse button repeatedly to change the
setting in the order d3->d4->d5->d1->d2->d3. You
can choose from levels 1-5 (1 is the minimum and 5
is the maximum).
3. Without operation in 5 seconds or press the Power
button to switch off, the setting will be remembered
by the dishwasher.
Preparing dishes for washing
Scrape away large pieces of food, bones, pits,
toothpicks, and similar items. The continuous
filtered wash system will remove the remaining
food particles.
Burned-on foods should be loosened before
loading.
Empty liquids from glasses and cups.
Foods such as mustard, mayonnaise, vinegar,
lemon juice, and tomato-based products may
cause discoloration of stainless steel and plastics if
allowed to sit for a long period of time. Unless the
dishwasher is to be operated at once, it is best to
rinse off these types of foods.
If the dishwasher drains into a garbage disposal,
be sure the disposal is completely empty before
starting dishwasher.
Loading the lower basket
The lower basket has been designed for dinner
dishes, soup bowls, plates, pots, lids and casserole
dishes.
Place large items such as pans and pots in the
dishwasher so their open sides face downwards. We
recommend loading cups, stemware, and small plates
into the upper basket.
See the recommended load patterns below.

Loading the upper basket
The upper basket has been designed for small plates,
mugs, glasses, and plastic items marked "dishwasher
safe". Load your plates into the dishwasher in two half
rows, so that the front of each plate faces the back
of the plate in front of it, and the open sides of the
plates at the center of the dishwasher face each other.
See the illustrations on the right.
Make sure the loaded dishes do not interfere with
the rotation of the spray arm which is located at the
bottom of the upper basket. (Check this by rotating
the spray arm by hand.)
When loading dishes, pull the upper basket out
sufficiently so you can load it without striking the
counter.
