It is recommended that forks, knives, spoons and
small cups are placed on the cutlery tray.
Using your dishwasher
1. Load the dishwasher (see sections above).
2. Add detergent (see "Filling the detergent
dispenser").
3. Add rinse aid, if needed (see "Filling the rinse aid
dispenser").
4. Keep the dishwasher door ajar. (The control panel
can only be operated when the door is open.)
5. Select desired cycle (see "Programs"). The Program
indicator light will glow when selected.
6. Select desired options (see "Functions"). The
function indicator light will glow when selected.
7. Run the hot water faucet nearest to the dishwasher
until the water is hot, then turn it off.
8. To start, press Start/Reset (see "Control Panel").
9. Close the dishwasher door within 4 seconds. The
appliance starts working.

Note: The amount of detergent to use depends on the water hardness. Water hardness is measured in grains
per gallon. You can check the hardness of the water in your area with your local Water Authority.

Filling the detergent dispenser
The amount of detergent required depends on the
cycle selected, the level of soiling on the dishes, and
the hardness of the water in your area (your local
Water Authority can advise you on this). Refer to the
following table for the recommended amount.
