If white spots and odor are still present in your
dishwasher, run the Normal cycle with the dishwasher
empty and without detergent until it flushes. Then,
interrupt the cycle and put an 8 ounce cup of white
vinegar into the lower basket. Close the dishwasher
and let the cycle finish.
CAUTION!
Do not remove the tub front seal
(the long rubber seal enclosing the opening of the
dishwasher).
Cleaning the filters
Your dishwasher has a multi-filter system which
includes three separate mesh filters. It separates
dirty water and clean water into different chambers.
The multi-filter system helps your dishwasher to get
better performance, using less water and energy.
The filters are designed to collect debris and
need to be cleaned monthly to maximize washing
performance.
1. Turn off the dishwasher and disconnect it from the
power supply.
2. Turn the filter insert counterclockwise to unfasten
and then remove the filter insert. Lift the filter out
of the dishwasher.
3. Grasp B firmly and pull A out by pressing the top of
the widest bar (D) with your thumb.

6. Reassemble the filters in the reverse order of the
disassembly, replace the filter insert, and turn
clockwise to the close arrow.
CAUTION!
If the filter insert is not closed
properly, its performance will be decreased.
Cleaning the spray arms
If your dishwasher does not seem to be cleaning
adequately or the spray arms seem clogged, you can
clean each of the spray arms. When removing the
spray arms, take care as they may break.
Lower spray arm
1. Check whether the spray
arm holes are clogged by
food particles.
2. If cleaning is needed,
remove the spray arm by
pulling it upwards.
3. Clean the spray arm and
then push it back into
place.
4. Check whether the spray
arm is engaged correctly
D
by turning it by hand.
Upper spray arm
The upper spray arm can only be cleaned together
with the upper basket. To remove the upper basket
for cleaning, refer to "Adjusting the upper basket".
Cleaning the door and tub gaskets
Clean the door gasket regularly with a damp cloth to
remove food particles.
The inside of the dishwasher is self-cleaning under
normal use. If needed, the tub gasket can be cleaned
with a damp cloth. Use a brush to clean the opening
in the end of the gasket.
