SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Always remove the electrodes from the skin with only moderate force
in order to prevent injuries in the rare case of extremely sensitive skin.
Protect the device from heat sources and do not use it near microwaves
or high-frequency appliances (e.g., mobile phones), as this could cause
unpleasant current spikes.
Do not subject the device to direct sunlight or high temperatures.
Protect the device from dust, dirt, and humidity.
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. The device is suitable
for self-administered use.
For hygienic reasons, the electrodes must be used on only one single
person.
lf the device does not function properly or if you feel discomfort or pain,
stop using the device immediately.
Before removing or moving the electrodes, always turn off the device or
the respective channel in order to prevent unwanted stimulation.
Do not modify the electrodes (e.g., by cutting them). This could result
in higher current density and be dangerous (recommended max. initial
output of electrodes 9 mA/cm2; an active current density of more than 2
mA/cm2 requires increased attention).
Do not use when sleeping, driving, or operating machines.
Do not use during activities, where unexpected reactions (e.g., increased
muscle contraction despite low intensity) could become dangerous.
Make sure no objects such as metal buckles or necklaces can get in
contact with the electrodes. lf you wear jewelry or have piercings in the
area of application (e.g., belly button piercing), you must remove those
before using the device, as they could cause punctual bums.
Keep children away from the device in order to prevent hazardous
situations.
Do not confuse the electrode cables and their pins with your headphones
or other devices, and do not connect the electrodes to other appliances.
Do not simultaneously use this device with other appliances that release
electric currents into your body.
