2. Screw the belt adjuster a few turns
counterclockwise.
3. Dismantle the blades by loosening the centre nut.
4. Place the new blades on each side of the bar. Insert
the pins of the nut through the blades and the bolt
washer.
5. Rotate the blades by hand while tightening the blade
bolt. Make sure to tighten the blade bolt with 15 Nm.

Note:
Make sure that the blades rotate when the
nut is tightened. This is to ensure that the belt is not
clamped between the integrated drive belt halves.
6. Tighten the drive belt. Refer to
of the drive belt on page 21 .
To do a check of the spark plug
CAUTION:
recommended spark plug type. Use of the
incorrect spark plug can cause damage to
the piston and cylinder. For recommended
spark plug refer to
28 .
•
Examine the spark plug if the product is low
on power, does not start easily or if it operates
unsatisfactorily at idle speed.
•
Make sure that the spark plug cap and ignition cable
are not damaged.
•
To decrease the risk of unwanted material on the
spark plug electrodes, obey these instructions:
a) Make sure that the idle speed is correctly
adjusted.
b) Make sure that the fuel mixture is correct.
c) Make sure that the air filter is clean.
•
If the spark plug is dirty, clean it and make sure that
the electrode gap is 0.5mm.
•
Replace the spark plug if it is necessary.
To do a general inspection
•
Make sure that all nuts and screws on the product
are tightened correctly.
To replace the drive belt
