BUTTON FUNCTIONS
4 inch DISPLAY
The 4 inch display has five buttons: [UP],
[DOWN], [MENU], [PAGES/ENTER] and [EXIT].
The [MENU] button gives you access to the
basic menu. The [UP] and [DOWN] buttons are
used to scroll through and highlight menu
items. The [PAGES/ENTER] button allows you
to scroll forward through pages, execute com-
mands and select items from menus. The
[EXIT] button is used to close menus and scroll
backward through pages.
Shortcut to system set up:
Press [MENU] twice to shortcut to SYSTEM
SET UP. The default selection for System Setup
is FUEL SETUP. Scroll [UP] or [DOWN] to
access other selections.
2 inch DISPLAY
The 2 inch display has three buttons: [UP],
[MENU] and [DOWN].
The 2 inch display uses the [MENU] button to
function as the [ENTER] button, so it is used to
open the menus and select the highlighted
menu options.
The [EXIT] button function is replaced by an
automatic timeout feature in the 2 inch display.
The timeout function will activate if a button is
not pressed within a preset time period and the
display will return to the last data page shown.
Timeout function duration
The duration of the timeout function on the 2"
display can be changed from the 5 second
default setting to 3, 10, or 15 seconds. Extend-
ing the timeout duration to 10 or 15 seconds
may help first time users with the initial set up.

SCREEN
Backlight, Contrast and Reverse video can be
set from the SCREEN menu.
To set screen preferences, press the [MENU]
button. Using the [UP] / [DOWN] buttons, select
SCREEN.
Backlight
4 inch DISPLAY
From the Screen menu, select BACKLIGHT.
Press [ENTER]. Select B.LIGHT SYNC to
adjust the backlighting of all gauges or select
ADJUST to adjust the current gauge. Using the
[UP] / [DOWN] buttons, set the adjustment bar
(represented by a flashlight graphic) for the
backlight to the desired level. Press [ENTER] to
set the backlight.
2 inch DISPLAY
From the Screen menu, select BACKLIGHT.
Use the [UP] and [DOWN] keys to set the back-
light to a desired level. Press [MENU] to accept
the new setting and return to the main display.
NOTE:
By turning on the Backlight Sync function, all
the backlight levels for components on the net-
work may be controlled by any of the gauges or
Lowrance head units in the network. If you
adjust the backlight on one of the gauges or
display units, the backlight levels from the other
gauges and display units will be changed, too.
