kann das Meβsystem sícher montiert und
problemlos in Betrieb genommen wer-
den.
Wír sind jedoch gegen Berechnung auch
gerne bereít, die Montage für Sie durch

oder die zuständige Vertretung auszufüh-
гeп.
Kann bei eventuellem Ausfall des Gerä-
tes der Fehler nicht selbst behoben wer-
den, so empfehlen wír die Ausrиstung ín
unser Werk Traunreut einzuschicken. Je
nach Schadensbefund erfoigt die Scha-
densbehebung gegen Berechnung oder
im Rahmen der Garantíe.

3. Funktíon
Der Abtastkopf-Montagefuβ ist über eine
spezielle Ankopplung mít dem Abtastwa-
gen-der aufdemGlasmaβstabgeführt íst-
verbunden. Das Lícht der Langlebensdau-
er-Lampe fä1!t durch die durchlässigen
Felder des inkrementalen Glasmaβstabes
und der Abtastplatte auf die den Abtast-
feldern
zugeordneten
Photoelemente.
Wird der Maβstab relativ zur Abtastplat-
te verschoben, so entstehen He11-Dunkel-
Schwankungen, die von den Photoele-
menten in sinusähnliche Sígnale umge-
wandelt werden. Die weitere Verarbei-
tung dieser Signale erfolgt in der HE1-
DENHAIN-Zählerelektronik.
Das LS 803, LS 803 D, LS 903 hat starrdard-
mäβig zwei absolute Referenzmarken,
womit die Bezugsposition auch nach Ar-
beitsunterbrechungen leícht wiedergefun-
den wìrd. A1s Sonderausfűhrung íst die
Ausführung mit 1 Referenzmarke in belíe-
biger Lage líeferbar.

En suivant 1es présentes instructions de
montage, 1e système de mesure peut
être moпté correctement et mis en ser-
vice sans dífficulté.
Nous sommes toutefois disposés à pгo-
cédeг au montage, soit par nos spécía-
lístes, soít par notre agent compétent,
contre facturatíon.
En cas de panne que 1e client n'est pas
en mesure de réparer, i1 est recamman-
dé de renvoyer 1'équipement en usine,
à Traunreut. La réparation a lieu gracieu-
sement ou à titre onéreux en fonctíon
des dégâts constatés, dans 1e cadre de
nos conditions de garantíe.

3. Fonctíonnement
Le bloc de montage de 1a tête captriće
est гe1іé paг un accouplement spécíal, à
un charíot de palpage guídé sur 1a règle
de verre. La lumière de 1a lampe 8 10п-
gue duгée de víe, en passant par 1es
champs transparants de 1a règle íncré-
mentale en verre et du réticule palpeur,
tombe sur 1es champs de balayage, quí
sont associés aux photo-éléments. En
dép!açant 1a règle par rapport au réticu-
1e palpeur, des varíations de luminosité
clair/sombre apparaissent, qui sont trans-
formées paг 1es photo-éléments eп sig-
naux sinusoїdaux. Ces signaux sont ex-
ploités ensuite dans 1'électronique de
comptage HEIDÉNHAIN.
Le LS 803, LS 803 D, LS 903 a deux mar-
ques de référence absolues standard
permettant 1e repérage de 1a position de
référence même après des ínterruptions
de travail. Une exécutíon spéciale avec
une seule marque de référence eп п'im-
porte quelle position est livrable en op-
tion (voir cotes d'encombrement page
20).

2. Genera! ínformation
By adheríng to the mounting instructions,
the measuring system can be easily in-
stalled and set into operation.
However íf requíred, the installation at
customer's expense can be carried out
Ьy contacting the appropríate Heiden-
hain supplíer or our service engineers.
1f the equipment becomes defective and
cannot be repaired by the customer, we
recommend the return of the equipment
to our factory ín Traunreut. Depending
on the nature of damage, repairs are
carried out either free of charge within
conditions of guarantee or at customer's
expense.
Cautíon!
Do not engage or dísengage any con-
nectors whi!st equípment is under power!
The transport protectíon clamps should
oπly be removed duríng the mounting
procedure! (paragraph 4.2.5., page 5)
3. Operatíng príncíple
The scanning head mounting block is
connected
to
the
scanning
carriage
by means of a specíal coupling. The
scanning carriage ís guided along the
glass scale. The light of the long-life lamp
ís passed through the light-transmitting
zones of the incremental scale and onto
the solar ce11s whích have been áligned
in accõrdance wíth the scanníng win-
dows. Relatíve movement of the scanning
head to the scale, produces light-dark
variations, which are converted into si-
πuso da1 signals by the solar ce11s. Fur-
ther processíng of these signals ís car-
ried out within the HEIDENHAIN-counter
electronics.
LS 803, LS 803 D, LS 903 aгe equipped
wíth two absolute reference markings
which enable re-establishing the referen-
ce datum after operational ínterruptions.
A special desígn with
one reference
marking at any positíon within the mea-
suring length is also available
(see
"Mountíng dimensíons" page 20).
