measuring principle
When the fluid flows through the pipe, the oval rotors which contain
magnets turn (see Fig. 1). The displacement of magnets lead to
a variation of magnetic field. The sensor measures the variation of
the magnetic field and converts the signal into a frequency. The
frequency is available at both the NPN transistor and Reed switch
outputs.
