W
Danger of injury! The surfaces of the solenoid valves may reach high
temperatures during operation.
W
The 30MM-ATEX solenoid coils are only permitted for appropriate and
intended use in normal industrial settings. In the case of violation, all
manufacturer liability and warranty claims will no longer apply!
W
All electrical devices must be suitable for their respective functions.
W
Only operate the 30MM-ATEX solenoid coils under the conditions
specified in the technical data and within the stipulated limits. Non-
compliance will affect the operational safety of the 30MM-ATEX solenoid
coils and may destroy the device or affect its function.
W
Immediately exchange the 30MM-ATEX solenoid coils if any
malfunctions occur.
During cleaning
W
Seal all openings with suitable protective caps to prevent detergents
from penetrating the system.
ATEX – Information on explosion protection
The 30MM-ATEX solenoid coils function as electric drive units for pipe
connecting valves and may only be used in accordance with the
specifications stipulated in the technical documentation from AVENTICS
and information on the product rating plate.
The installation regulations for systems in explosive areas (e.g. EN 60079-
14, EN 1127-1) must be observed!
The solenoid valves are equipped with a permanently attached connection
cable to connect external electric circuits.
The 30MM-ATEX solenoid coils are certified and identified according to the
ATEX directive 2014/34/EU.

The surface temperature is qualified as T4.
The equipment is not an ignition source for all gases, vapors, and mists
with an ignition energy > 135°C.
Use compressed air generated in accordance with the specifications in the
technical data as the pressure medium.
Observe the following special conditions:
Danger of an ignition source due to impermissible operating
conditions, connections, and parameters.
Operating the 30MM-ATEX solenoid coils under impermissible conditions
can lead to overheating on the surfaces of the 30MM-ATEX solenoid coils
and/or formation of an ignition source.

Danger of injury from uncontrolled operation!
If the system is under electrical voltage and/or pressure during
assembly of the 30MM-ATEX solenoid coils, this may lead to uncontrolled
responses and, as a result, injuries to personnel or damage to the
system.
O Before connecting the solenoid valves, make sure the relevant system

Risk due to incorrectly mounted solenoid coils!
An incorrectly mounted 30MM ATEX solenoid coil may result in
uncontrolled movements that could damage other system parts.
O Make sure that the 30MM-ATEX solenoid coils are securely fastened.
Missing seals and plugs result in non-compliance with the IP 65
protection class!
