a few minutes in operation, and adjusted if necessary.
To do so switch the device off, remove the battery and
apply the chain brake.

Sharpening the saw chain
Effective work with the cordless chainsaw saw is only
possible if the saw chain is in good condition and
sharp. This also reduces the risk of kick-back.
Special tools are required to sharpen the saw chain;
these ensure that the chain cutting edges are sharp-
ened at the correct angle and to the correct depth.
The saw chain can be resharpened at an authorise
specialist workshop. Do not attempt to sharpen the saw
chain yourself if you do not have a suitable tool and the
necessary experience.
16.4 Maintaining the guide rail (7)
