CAUTION
Damage to property due to dry run!
If the pump runs dry, the mechanical seals will be damaged.
• Fill the pump with water and vent it before commissioning.
Pump filling
1. Unscrew the seal and remove it.
2. Fill the pump with clear water via a funnel (Fig. 22).
3. Reinstall the seal.
NOTICE
The level sensor must be correctly connected to the control device.
A faulty contacting or a measuring signal outside 4-20 mA is displayed as
an error and the system is switched to tap water mode.
Commissioning
1. Check installation and impermeability of all connections (remove front cover if neces-
sary).
2. To fill the replenishment reservoir, open the tap water inlet.
⇒ After approx. 30 seconds, the tank is filled.

3. Check to ensure correct closing of the replenishment and impermeability.
4. Check that the pump on/off switch is set to ON (Fig. 23 – A).
5. Check that the motor power supply plug (Fig. 23 – C) is properly connected.
6. Connect the mains plug to the power supply.
⇒ The control panel of the control device is activated.
7. Select the preferred menu language (Fig. 24).
