DANGER
Danger of death due to electrical current!
Improper electrical connection can lead to electric shock.
• Have electrical work carried out by a qualified electrician.
• Comply with accident prevention regulations.
• Set up the power supply to the system as a trip circuit with a residual-
current device (RCD) and an intended differential current of 30 mA.
• Observe local regulations.
•
The system is ready for connection.
•
Power is supplied via an existing socket (CEE 7/7, 250 V, 16 A, type E or F)
•
Observe current type and supply voltage according to the rating plate.
•
Ensure power supply with a system impedance of max. 0.3 Ohm.
•
Fuse protection of 16 A (slow-blow) provided by the customer must be available.
•
The socket for the system's power supply must be accessible at all times.
•
Observe the current type and supply voltage of the mains connection on the rating
plate.
•
Defective cables should only be replaced by a qualified electrician.
•
If available, connect the on-site rainwater storage tank pump to the control device (22;
X1: 7-9).
CAUTION
The power supply socket serves as the main switch of the
RAIN3.
The socket for the system's power supply must be accessible at all times
for safety reasons.
The level sensor is included in the scope of delivery. The connection cord consists of a con-
nection cable with two wires and a protective sheath to compensate for fluctuations in air
pressure. The control device has to be opened for connection.
1.
Loosen the fastening screws on the cover und remove the cover.
2.
Loosen screwed connection 19 (Fig. 20) on the control device.
3.
Insert the cable ends with the protective sheath into the screwed connection.
⇒
The protective sheath must be visible inside the housing.
4.
Connect the wires according to the diagram (X3: 3 = brown; 4 = white).
5.
Carefully tighten the threaded cable gland hand-tight.
Do not cut or kink the protective sheath!
6.
Close the cover of the control device with the fastening screws.
