Deadman device
The lift is equipped with a "deadman" type operative system so that up or down movement is immediately stopped when the control
reverser-switch is released.
Mechanical stops
The lift is provided with mechanical stops that are activated in case of limit switch faults at the end of the up or down stroke.
In such situations, trigger the operation opposite to the previous one by a 5-10 cm stroke.
Check the concerned limit switch and replace it if necessary.
In addition to the above-mentioned mechanical stops, the deactivation of the motor temperature sensor may also occur; it will
automatically reactivate after approximately 3 minutes.
Carriage height synchronization
Any unauthorised modifications or tampering with the equipment release the manufacturer from any liability for damages
caused by or related to the above mentioned acts.
Removal of or tampering with safety devices constitutes an infringement of European Safety Regulations.
Should the difference in level of the two carriages exceed 18 mm, the control device automatically resets the correct alignment.
Emergency block
This type of block occurs in the case of:
- the carriages more than 32 mm out of alignment;
- motor block
Manoeuvres permitted in emergency conditions
- When the lift is in the emergency state (see previous paragraph), no operation is allowed by means of the "lowering" or "lifting"
push buttons. To reset the operation mode, apply to our After Sales Service.
- To remove the car from the lift, turn the pulleys by hand.
Nut wear stop
If the lift is operated even when the limit marks are aligned (CH. 10.2), the safety system becomes operative.
The device is triggered when the carriages reach the down stop limit.
It is signalled by the acoustic warning, which is active in mode: 1s ON and 1s OFF.
