7.3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The anchor bolts must be fitted using the base plates as drilling templates
NOTE: Please refer to the technical specifications provided by the block manufacturer for the block positioning and application methods.
Installation procedure:
- position a column vertically;
- Provide spacers to close any gap under the base plate (fig.B)
- mark out the holes and drill them following the procedures indicated by the block manufacturer;
- fix the block in position;
- bring the other column upright and position it at the distance indicated in ch. 5.2;
- proceed with the drilling and block fixing steps described above for both columns.
Check the anchoring after about ten fully-loaded runs, checking the tightening torque of the bolts.
This inspection must be made every 3 months.
Carry out the electrical connection of the columns as follows:
KPE32
- Fit in the cable gland tube (1) on the motor support plates.
- Route the electric cable (2) inside the tube (1).
- Outer line (3).
- Make the connections to the junction box (fig. C).
