CH. 5 INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
5.1 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PLACE OF INSTALLATION
Make sure that the place where the machine is to be installed complies with the following requirements:
- the use of the lift is allowed only inside enclosed areas, where there is no danger of explosion or fire.
- the lift is not suitable for use where vehicle washing is involved.
- sufficient lighting (nonetheless the place must not be subject to glare or intense light). EN 12464-1 reference standard;
- place not exposed to the weather;
- place with adequate air exchange;
- pollutant-free environment;
- noise level below the regulatory requirements in force at ≤ 70 dB (A);
- room temperature: min. 5° - max 55°;
- the workplace must not be exposed to dangerous movements due to other machines in operation;
- the room where the machine is installed must not be used to store explosive, corrosive and/or toxic materials;
- the distance of the columns from walls or any fixed equipment must be at least 50 cm.
- choose the installation layout considering that from the control position the operator must be able to view the entire machine and
the surrounding area. S/he must prevent the presence of unauthorised persons and objects that could cause a source of danger in
this area.
All installation procedures related to external power supply connections (in particular electrical) must be performed by qualified
personnel.
Installation must be carried out by authorised personnel following the special instructions described in this manual; if in doubt, please
refer to authorised service centres or RAVAGLIOLI technical service.
