Cleaning the appliance for the fi rst time
Pull the door handle (10) to open the microwave door (1 1).
To remove dust residue from the packaging and any other potential residue stemming
from the manufacturing process, wipe out the cooking area (8) and the inner side of
the viewing window (1 1) with a slightly damp, soft cloth before using the appliance for
the first time. Ensure that no liquids penetrate into the microwave and dry the surfaces
completely afterwards.
Clean the glass turntable (5) and the roller ring (6) in warm water with a little washing
up liquid before drying off these parts completely.
9.3.
Inserting the glass turntable
Do not use the microwave without properly installing the glass turntable (5).
Check that the drive shaft (7) is correctly inserted in the recess on the base of the
cooking area and that its wings rest flat on the base. If necessary, turn the drive shaft
(7) until it sinks into its correct position.
Place the roller ring (6) in the recess in the cooking area (8) and then place the glass
turntable (5) centrally on the drive shaft (7) (see Fig. C) so that the webs of the glass
turntable (5) lie between the wings of the drive shaft (7).
10. Confi guring basic settings
10.1. Setting the time
When the product is used for the first time or if the power supply is interrupted, the display
(3) will show 0:00 and the time (24-hour display) needs to be set.
Press the
timer/clock button (12) twice. The hour display begins to flash.
Turn the control knob (14) to set the desired hour.
