The use of unsuitable materials can cause damage to the
appliance or the material itself.
Never use metal dishes or dishes with metal trimmings.
Do not use crystal or lead crystal glass. It can shatter,
and coloured glass may become discoloured.
Do not use materials that are not resistant to heat. They
may warp or may even catch fire.
9. Before using the appliance for the fi rst time
Ensure that all packaging materials have been removed from inside the appliance and
that protective films have been removed.

Possibility of damage to the appliance due to improper
handling
Never remove the mica waveguide cover (1) in the
cooking area (8). It is not part of the packaging, but is
for protection against magnetrons.
9.1.
Setting up the appliance
Do not place the microwave:
− near to sources of heat
− near to radios or televisions
− in the immediate vicinity of inflammable materials
− in a location prone to wetness or high humidity.
To ensure adequate ventilation, the clearances specified in Fig. D must be maintained.
The spacer on the back of the appliance must touch the wall. It ensures that the correct
clearance is maintained when positioning the microwave.
Do not remove the feet.
Connect the microwave to a convenient and easily accessible, earthed mains socket.
