3.4.2. System ON/OFF eBike switch
Switching the External Battery eX1 ON with the eBike
Press the eBike's Head Unit once to turn the system ON. The External
Battery eX1 LED bar will light up and the "Hello" animation will be displayed.
If everything is in order, the LED bar will display the battery level in white
(state of charge).
With your External Battery eX1 connected to your eBike (follow the
Installation Guide section), press the button briefly. The External Battery eX1
LED bar will display a "Hello" animation just like the Head Unit.
By default, your External Battery eX1 will be discharged first, allowing you
to remove it whenever it is fully depleted.
To find out whether your External Battery eX1 is your main energy supplier
(thus
providing power to your eBike), a recurrent "LIGHT CHASING" animation will
appear every 3 seconds on the External Battery eX1 LED bar.
