particularly suitable for the treatment and prevention
of mild forefoot oedema.
Notes for use
Your specialist retailer will be happy to show you the
correct way to use the product. Rough, unfiled finger
nails or sharp-edged rings etc. may damage the very
fine knitted fabric. We therefore recommend the use
of Juzo special gloves. Toe nails and calluses can
also cause damage, as can the defective inner lining
of shoes. Put your compression garment on the decon-
gested leg in the morning right after getting up. Put
on and put of your compression garment while sitting
down to prevent injuries or falling.

1. Using both hands, stretch the stocking and pull it
over your foot.
2. Now pull up the stocking evenly and free from
any wrinkles – without twisting it or pulling at the
edges – and, at the same time, smooth it on to your
leg with the flat of your hand. If you have pulled
the stocking up too high, simply push it back down
to the ankle and then pull it up again with less
strength.
3. Once the stocking fits without wrinkles, you can
put the compression garment on over the top.
Please note the instructions for use for the relevant
product.
Please note:
Only wear compression garments if they have been
prescribed by a doctor. Compression garments should
only be dispensed by properly trained staff at a medi-
cal retailer. The liner stockings are largely resistant to
oils, ointments, skin moisture and other environmental
influences. The durability of the knitted fabric may,
however, be affected by certain combinations of the
above. This is why it is advisable to have a medical
retailer check your product regularly. Please contact
your specialist retailer in the event of damage. Do not
repair the product yourself – this may affect its quality
and medical effectiveness. For hygiene reasons, this
product is intended for one person only.
Special instructions for Juzo Liner Silver
Juzo Liner Silver has an antibacterial effect, thanks to
the knitted-in silver thread. Since silver can conduct
heat and electricity, direct contact with electrical
sources (e.g. a hair dryer) should be avoided.
When Juzo Liner Silver is wet, it should not come into
contact with metals (e.g. metal clothes hangers). This
may cause discolouration of the silver in the stocking.
Tanning agents used in the leather production of the
shoe lining may cause discolouration of the stocking
and the silver thread in the foot section.
Storage information and shelf life
Store in a dry place and protect from sunlight. Stand-
ard products have a maximum shelf life of 36 months.
The stockings then have a usage period of 6 months.
The usage period depends on correct handling
(e.g. care, donning and doffing) and normal use of the
products. The usage period of the medical product
is printed on the box with an hourglass symbol. After
the 6-month usage period, body measurements must
be re-checked by a medical specialist. In the event
of significant changes in measurements of the body
part that is being treated (e.g. based on therapeutic
success, weight change), re-measurement and supply
of a new product may be required earlier, before the
6-month usage period comes to an end.
Washing and care instructions
Please note the care instructions on the textile label
sewn into your stockings or the printed information.
We recommend turning liner stockings inside out
before washing and washing them separately the
first time (possibility of discolouration). Your liner
stockings should be washed every day on a gentle
or delicate wash cycle. (Juzo Liner / Juzo Liner Silver:
60 °C / Juzo Liner Dual Stretch: 40 °C)
Tip: A laundry net provides additional protection for
the knitted fabric. Please do not use fabric softener.
When hand washing, rinse well and do not wring.
We recommend gentle Juzo Special Detergent. You
can reduce drying time by placing the stockings on a
thick towel after washing, tightly rolling the towel and
firmly pressing out excess moisture. Then hang up the
stocking loosely. Do not leave the product in the towel
and do not dry it on a radiator or in the sun. Please use
the delicates setting when drying in a tumble dryer
(suitable for tumble-drying: see textile label or printed
information on the fabric).
Juzo Liner / Juzo Liner Silver / Juzo Liner Dual Stretch
are not suitable for dry cleaning.
Special care instructions for Juzo Liner Silver
The stockings can be ironed at a lukewarm tempera-
ture without compromising the function of the silver.
However, the stockings mustn't be damp during
ironing because this may cause discolouration.
