REMEDY ACTIONS
Verify the rotation of the motor.
Fill the pump and the suction pipe with the fluid
Verify the possible losses of the pipeline. Breathe the
pump in order to get out the air
Increase the immersion of the tube below the liquid
level.
Low the level of the pump
Check suction filter, check impeller and remove
obstructions.
Check the motor rotation speed. For motors powered
by inverter, check the feed frequency.
Check the outlet valves holes. Make a calculation of the
pumping plant and compare it with the one of the
pump. Use a pump with higher head
Icrease the pumping plant NPSHa, reducing the
suction losses, or approaching the pump to the fluid
that has to be aspirated.
Replace the seals
Replace the impeller
REpalce the foot valve
Remove the ostructions
Check the tightening of the fixing screws
Support the piping
REplace the bearings
Check the alignment of the elastic joint
Check power line
Replace the capacitor
Check and remove obstruction
Repair or replace the cable
Check voltage
Repair or replace the cable
Check and if necessary rewind
Check and remove obstruction
Check the density. If necessary, contact the
manufacturer.
Check alignment of the elastic joint
Check the corrispondence between motor speed and
pump.
Check and replace worn parts if necessary (bearings,
impeller, etc.)
Act on the outlet regulation valve to increase the head
and low the flow rate.
