(FOR THIS USE ARE AVAILABLE CERTIFIED PUMPS
Do not use the electric pump in areas frequented by swimmers (swimming pools, basins etc ...).
Do not use the pump / assembly for liquids that crystallize or polymerize.
Do not use the pump / group in the presence of overpressure on the system (ex: water hammer).
Do not run the pump without liquid. Do not use the pump in case of faults or malfunctions.
Always use the pump for the flow rate and head included in the nameplate values.
It is forbidden to start the pump without first connecting to the user system.
It is forbidden to use chemically and mechanically aggressive liquids for the pump materials.
It is forbidden to start the pump without the drain plug.
No smoking near the pump if it contains flammable materials
5 – INSTALLATION
Handle the pump with suitable lifting equipment as specified in paragraph 3.
Before executing any operation, turn off the power and prevent it from being reconnected.
PRELIMINARY VERIFICATIONS
Verify that the data shown on the plate, and in particular, power, frequency, voltage, absorbed current,
are compatible with the characteristics of the electric line or current generator available. In particular, the
voltage of the line voltage can have a variance of ± 5% from the nominal voltage value on the plate.
Verify that the chemical/physical characteristics of the liquid to be moved correspond to those specified
on the order.
Verify that the pump has not been exposed to the weather inclemency.
Electric pump: verify that the protection and insulation grade indicated on the plate are compatible with
WARNING!
the environmental conditions.
Contact the customer care in case of ambient temperature +40°C or altitude over 1000m above sea level.
Verify that the pump's flow rate and head correspond to the required characteristics.
Before connecting the pipes to the relative openings, make sure that the rotating part of the pump turns
freely and is not hindered. In case of problems please contact our technical assistance servicing.
Verify the environmental conditions: the pumps can be installed in enclosed or, at any rate, protected
areas, with maximum ambient temperature of + 40 °C in a non-explosive atmosphere.
Make sure that the crankcases and fixed guards are properly and firmly fixed to the pump.
PLACE OF INSTALLATION
Make sure that the pump support surface is well consolidated, regular (so that the base rests evenly) and
that the capacity of this surface is adequate for the weight. It is advisable to make a concrete base.
DO NOT place the pump or the electric pump on a wood base or on a plastic surface.
Fix to the ground with anchor bolts using the holes in the pump or in the base.
ATTENZIONE!
Check that the surrounding area is sufficient to guarantee ventilation and the possibility of movement for
any maintenance interventions. Check that the fixing point and surface prevent any transmission of
vibrations to the surrounding structures.
