1.4.3 Single acting cylinders (HGC) (Fig. 3)
Single acting cylinders are specifically meant for lifting under normal circumstances and robust working
conditions.
WARNING
In case of thread of the cylinder and plunger end is used, use the full length of the thread.
The threaded holes in the bottom of the cylinder are intended for positioning only and are
not capable for the full load or construction purposes.
WARNING
When you attach or remove accessories:
• Apply full travel of the plunger.
• Apply a pressure of 100 bar.
1.4.4 Single acting HAC cylinders (Fig. 2) and double acting HAC cylinders (Fig. 4)
Single acting HAC cylinders are specifically meant for lifting under normal circumstances.
WARNING
Aluminium cylinders obtained from Holmatro are designed to safely withstand up to 5,000
cycles at their maximum working pressure. THIS LIMIT SHOULD NOT BE EXCEEDED.
Use of aluminium cylinders beyond this limit can lead to sudden failure without warning and
could cause property damage, injury or death.
1.4.5 Telescopic rerail cylinders (Fig. 14)
HATC cylinders are specifically meant for lifting rail vehicles under normal circumstances.
WARNING
Aluminium cylinders obtained from Holmatro are designed to safely withstand up to 5,000
cycles at their maximum working pressure. THIS LIMIT SHOULD NOT BE EXCEEDED.
Use of aluminium cylinders beyond this limit can lead to sudden failure without warning and
could cause property damage, injury or death.
1.4.6 Pulling cylinders (HPJ) (Fig. 9)
Pulling cylinders are specifically meant for pulling construction parts to each other, used for example in
the ship building industry.
WARNING
In case of thread of the cylinder and plunger end is used, use the full length of the thread.
1.4.7 Hollow plunger cylinders (HHJ) (Fig. 8)
Hollow plunger cylinders are meant to set tension on anchors, used in civil engineering.
1.4.8 Aluminium hollow plunger cylinders (HAHC) (Fig. 12 and Fig. 13)
Aluminium hollow plunger cylinders are designed to do various pulling actions in an industrial
environment such as pulling shafts, tensioning of cables, pulling out bushes etc.
