8-1. Troubleshooting Table
Trouble
Motor/blower will not start or continue
running.
Decreased air flow.
Fume extractor discharges fumes or
particles.

Power supply error.

Motor protection switch

Check input power connection.
Check fuse F1, and replace if open (see Section 7-3)
Check relay F6, and reset if open (see Section 7-3).
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check unit.
Reconnect collection hose to connection port.
Inspect collection hose and replace if damaged.
Remove obstruction from inside of collection hose.
Verify air supply is connected for automatic filter cleaning.
Replace filter (see Section 7-2).
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check unit.
Inspect filter (including gasket) and replace if damaged or dirty. Be sure filter is installed properly.
(See Section 7-2).
Check seal between upper and lower units.
Have Factory Authorized Service Agent check unit.
Possible Cause
−Polarity wrong.
−Phase Failure.
−Undervoltage/overvoltage detected.
Input power too high.
1600 hour maintenance interval
exceeded.
The differential pressure is at least
2500Pa.
The maximum allowed differential pres-
sure has reached 3000 Pa. The unit
has automatically shut down.
Remedy
Remedy
Check input power connection (See Section 5-7).
−Turn off unit.
−Wait for automatic reset of the motor protection switch.
−Restart unit.
−If error persists, contact an Authorized Factory Service
Agent.
Perform scheduled 1600 hour maintenance (see Section
7-2).
