7-2. Scheduled 1600 Hour Maintenance

Perform these maintenance procedures when indicated by Service Indicator Light (See Section 7-1 and/or Section 8-2 ), or more often in severe
conditions. If these procedures are not performed, unit may shut down (see Section 8-2).
A. Replacing Particulate Collection Bag And Draining Water From Compressed Air Tank

Tools Needed:
!
Turn off unit and disconnect in-
put power connector before re-
placing particulate bag or drain-
ing water from compressed air
tank.
!
Do not operate unit without a
particulate bag in place.
!
Do not breathe the particles col-
lected by the fume extractor.
Wear approved safety equipment
(respirator, gloves, long sleeve
shirt) when servicing filter and
spark guard. Dispose of used
bag and collected particles ac-
cording to local, state, and feder-
al requirements.

Read and understand the Materi-
al Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs)
and the manufacturer's instruc-
tions for metals, consumables,
coatings, cleaners, and de-
greasers.
Draining Water From Compressed
Air Tank

Input Power Receptacle

Compressed Air Supply
Disconnect unit from compressed air
supply.

Drain Valve
Turn valve counterclockwise to open
valve.
Close valve when water is finished
draining.
Changing particulate Collection Bag

Air Vacuum For Particulate
Collection Canister (Hose)

Latches (3)

Particulate bin
Disconnect hose.
Open the three latches.
Carefully lower particulate bin and re-
move particulate bag.
Install new particulate bag.
If filter is not being replaced at this time,
reverse order to reinstall particulate bin.

1600 Hour Service Timer Reset
Switch
Reset 1600 hour service timer (See
Section 7-2B).
.
If filter is being replaced at this time,
proceed to Section 7-2B.
