B. Replacing Filter And Resetting 1600 Hour Service Indicator
!
Turn off unit and disconnect input
power connector before replacing
filter.
!
Do not operate unit without filter or
with dirty (plugged) filter.
!
Replace filter when dirty (plugged).
!
Do not breathe the particles col-
lected by the fume extractor. Wear
approved safety equipment (respira-
tor, gloves, long sleeve shirt) when
servicing filter and spark guard. Dis-
pose of used element and collected
particles according to local, state,
and federal requirements.
!
Read and understand the Material
Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and the
manufacturer's instructions for met-
als, consumables, coatings, clean-
ers, and degreasers.

Tools Needed:

If after replacing filter, Service Indic-
ator light remains on (unit must be
turned on), contact an Authorized
Factory Service Agent.

This job is best performed with two
people.

Hose
Detach hose.

Lower Latches
Open the three lower latches and unhinge.

Lower bin
Remove lower bin.

Upper Latches
Open the three upper latches and unhinge.

Upper bin
Lower and remove the upper bin from
around the filter.

Nut And Washer
Remove the nut and washer so the filter can
be lowered and removed.

Filter
Remove and properly dispose of filter.
Install new filter and reassemble in reverse
order.
Resetting 1600 Hour Service Timer
!
Power must be on to reset 1600 hour
service timer.

1600 Hour Service Timer Reset
Switch
Remove back panel.
Connect input power plug and turn unit on.
Press button to reset 1600 hour service
timer.
Turn unit off after resetting 1600 hour ser-
vice timer.
Install back panel.
