Cleaning
Daily cleaning
•
Although overcooked food cannot burn into the glass, it is recommended to clean the hob
immediately after use.
•
For daily cleaning, it is best to use a damp cloth with a mild detergent.
•
Dry the glass plate with a paper towel or dry cloth.
Stubborn stains
•
Even stubborn stains can be removed with a mild detergent, such as washing-up liquid.
•
Remove water spots and limescale with vinegar.
•
Metal marks (created by sliding pans) are often difficult to remove.
Special products are available for this purpose.
•
Remove food residues with a glass scraper. Melted plastic and sugar are also best removed
with a glass scraper.
Never use!
•
Never use abrasives. These leave scratches in which dirt and scale can accumulate.
•
Never use sharp objects such as steel wool or scouring pads.
