TROUBLESHOOTING
General
Switch off the hob immediately if you see a crack in the glass (no matter how small). Unplug
the power cord, or turn off the circuit breaker(s) or remove the fuse(s) in the meter cupboard.
For permanent connection, set the switch in the power supply lead to zero. Contact the service
department.
Troubleshooting table

Symptom
The display lights up when
the hob is switched on for the
first time.

Possible cause
This is the normal start-up
routine.
The hob is cooling down.
The new appliance is heating
up.
This is caused by the energy
flowing from the hob to the
pan.
The pan you are using is not
suitable for induction cooking
or is too small in diameter.
There is no pan (or an
unsuitable pan) on the
cooking zone.
The preset time has elapsed.
There is no power due to a
faulty cable or connection.
Faulty electrical connection.
The lock function is active.
Solution
Normal operation.

This is normal and will
disappear after the appliance
has been used several times.
Ventilate the kitchen.
At high settings, this is
perfectly normal for some
pans. This does not harm the
pans or the hob.
