OPERATION
Move pan function
The move pan function allows power settings and any running timer to be transferred from one
cooking zone to another.
Conditions
The hob is on.
At least one pan is placed on the hob, and a power setting and possibly a timer are set for
this pan.
Lift the pan and place it on another empty cooking zone within 3 seconds.
The power level and any running timer are automatically transferred to the other cooking
zone. The cooking process continues in the same way as on the previous cooking zone. The
previous cooking zone is immediately switched off.
Remarks
The move pan function is only available when permanent pan detection is active.
If there are any automatic cooking functions active, these cannot be transferred and are
cancelled when a pan is moved.
Be sure to only move one pan at a time.
Linking the bridge cooking zones
The bridge cooking zones can be linked together. This creates one large zone. The pan must be
large enough to cover the middle of the front and rear cooking zones (>240 mm).
1. Place a pan in the middle of the two bridge cooking zones.
The bridge button and grill button are shown.
2. Touch the bridge button.
The bridge button lights up brighter.
A '0' appears on the display for the front zone.
3. Use a slide control to set the desired power level for the linked cooking zones.
The setting appears on the display for the front zone.
The cooking zone starts automatically at the level that has been set.
Use the slide control to set a higher or lower power level.
4. Touch the bridge button to unlink the bridge cooking zones again.
A '0' appears on both displays.
If the pan used does not cover both zones sufficiently, for safety reasons both slider
controls will flash and no power level can be set.
