OPERATION
Grill function
This function allows you to make the best use of a griddle with appropriate power settings. The
steps between the different power levels are smaller for the grill function. This provides more
precise temperature control.
1. Place a griddle on both bridge cooking zones.
The bridge button and grill button are shown.
2. Touch the grill button.
The grill button lights up brighter.
'0' flashes on the display for the rear zone.
3. Use a slide control to set the desired power level.
The setting appears on the display for the rear zone.
The cooking zone starts automatically at the level that has been set.
Use the slide control to set a higher or lower power level.
4. Touch the grill button to switch off the grill function.
A '0' appears on both displays.
If the griddle used does not cover both zones sufficiently, for safety reasons both slider
controls will flash and no power level can be set.
Timer control
The timer is linked to an active cooking zone. After the set time has elapsed, the cooking zone
switches off automatically.
The time must be set one digit at a time. The maximum duration is 99 minutes.
1. Touch the timer button of the corresponding cooking zone to switch on the timer.
The timer button starts flashing. As long as the button is flashing, the time can be set.
The display shows '--', with the first dash flashing.
2. Set a time using the slide control, first digit first (choose '0' if you want to set a time under
10 minutes).
3. Touch the timer button to confirm, or wait until the digit stops flashing.
4. Set a time with the slide control, and then set the second digit.
5. Touch the timer button to confirm, or wait until the digit stops flashing.
When the time is set, the timer starts counting down.
The display now shows the time, rather than the power level.
A blinking dot to the right of the time indicates that a timer is set for that cooking zone.
