OPERATION
2. Touch the keep warm button once (44 °C ), twice (70 °C) or three times (94 °C).
The keep warm function is active. The display shows the corresponding keep warm
▷
symbol.
3. Set the power level to '0' to turn off the keep warm function.
Chef Cook function
With this function, all cooking zones are switched on at the same time and the hob is divided into
three linked zones. The power levels for these zones are predefined and can be changed while
using this function. The last used settings are saved for using the Chef Cook function the next
time.
•
Power level 3 is automatically activated for the cooking zones on the left.
•
Power level 6 is automatically activated for the middle cooking zones.
•
Power level 9 is automatically activated for the cooking zones on the right.
1. Place a pan (or several pans) in the middle of a cooking zone.
2. Touch the 'Chef Cook' button.
Power levels appear on the displays and the bridge buttons are lit.

3. You can adjust the power levels of the zones to your own preference. You can also unlink
the zones and control them individually. The most recent settings are saved.
4. Touch the 'Chef Cook' button again to switch the function off.
Automatic cooking functions
This hob features 5 automatic cooking functions. The actual performance of these cooking
functions greatly depends on the cookware used and certain other parameters:
•
The automatic cooking functions work most accurately when using stainless steel pans with
sandwich bottoms.
•
The automatic cooking functions work less accurately for cookware containing aluminium or
multi-layer pans.
•
The use of cast iron and steel cookware is not recommended.
•
For boiling, steaming, pasta, and frying, make sure you use a pan that is cooler than 40 °C
and a zone without residual heat (cooler than 60 °C).
•
If the pan is moved from one zone to another, the automatic cooking functions do not
follow.
•
If the pan is lifted for more than 20 seconds, the activated automatic cooking functions are
cancelled.
•
You can use multiple automatic cooking functions simultaneously on different zones.
•
The timer or the cooking time counter can be used with the automatic cooking functions.
