Functional test after connection
Any work on the electrical system must be carried
out by a qualified electrician in line with VDE
(German electrotechnical association) or relevant
national standards and and/or those of the local
electricity supplier.
• Depress the pedal (3, Fig. 7).
The turntable (5) must turn clockwise.
• Lift the pedal up.
The turntable must turn anticlockwise.
• Depress pedal (3, Fig. 7) to first level: the
turntable (5) must rotate slowly (7 rpm); fully
depress pedal: the turntable must rotate fast (18
rpm).
• Depress the pedal (1, Fig. 7) to release the
tower (7) which automatically tilts backwards.To
return the tower to the forward operating position,
depress the pedal again.
• Press the push-button (8, Fig. 7) to centre
position.The hexagonal bar (9) must be lowered
automatically. Fully depress the push-button. The
hexagonal bar must lock. Return the push-button
to centre position. The hexagonal bar must be
raised automatically. Return the push-button to
the initial position.
• Manually open the bead breaker arm (6, Fig.
7) and depress the bead breaker pedal (4). The
bead breaker must close.
• Depress the pedal (2). The four clamping jaws
must open.
• Depress the turntable plate pedal again. The
clamping jaws must close.
• Slowly depress the pedal (2) as far as the centre
position. If the pedal is released the clamping
jaws remain in the position reached.
• Check that hose connections and unions are
sealed.
• Adjust the oil supply to the lubricator (Fig. 8) so
that a drop of oil falls into the transparent level
tube after every two or three times the pedals are
operated (2 and 3, Fig. 7).To do this, adjust the
lubricator adjusting screw with a screwdriver (1).
• Check that the pedal-operated tyre inflating device
functions correctly.
