Timer Operation
The 682ZX has a built-in self-start feature
which enables you to make unattended
recordings or to start playback at a pre-
selected time with the use of a timer.
m Operation
1. Make connections as shown in the chart.
2. Insert the tape for recording or playback
and turn on the power to all components.
3. For unattended recordings, perform auto
calibration (—p. 17) and set the input level
controls to suit the expected recording
level. For automatic playback adjust the
output level contro! to the desired level.
Check if all components are set up
properly.
4. For unattended recordings, set the timer
switch (17) to "rec", for automatic
playback set it to "play".
5. Set the desired starting time at the timer.
6. At the pre-selected time, the timer will
supply power to the components and the
682ZX
will start recording or playing.
Verwendung einer Zeitschaltuhr.
Das 682ZX hat eine eingebaute
Selbststartvorrichtung, die es erlaubt, in
Verbindung mit einer externen Zeitschaltuhr
zu einer vorbestimmten Zeit die Aufnahme
oder Wiedergabe automatisch zu starten.
= Bedienung
1. Stellen Sie die ndtigen Anschlisse her, wie
in der Abbildung gezeigt.
2. Legen Sie die zu verwendende Cassette
ein und schalten Sie alle Gerate ein.
3. Wenn Sie eine Aufnahme machen wollen,
fuhren Sie die Auto-Bandeinmessung
(—S. 17) durch und stellen Sie die
Eingangspegelregler auf den zu
erwartenden Aufnahmepegel ein. Fir
Wiedergabe stellen Sie den gewiinschten
Lautstarkepegel mit dem
Ausgangspegelregler ein. Uberprifen Sie,
ob alle Gerate korrekt angeschlossen und
eingestellt sind.
4. Fur eine Aufnahme stellen Sie den
Schalter fiir Zeitschaltuhrbetrieb (17) auf
,rec", fir Wiedergabe auf ,,play".
5. Stellen Sie die Zeitschltuhr auf die
gewinschte Zeit ein.
6. Zur vorgewahiten Zeit fuhrt die Schaltuhr
den Geraten Netzstrom zu und das 682ZX
beginnt mit der Aufnahme oder
Wiedergabe.

Déclenchement par chronocompteur____
Le 682ZX est dote d'une fonction d'auto-
déclenchement intégrée qui permet de
procéder a des enregistrements sans étre soi-
méme présent ou de lancer la reproduction a
un moment présélectionne, ceci a l'aide d'un
chronocompteur.
= Mode d'emploi
1. Procéder aux branchements de la maniére
indiquée sur le tableau.
2. Introduire la bande a enregistrer ou
reproduire et mettre tous les composants
concernés sous tension.
3. Pour les enregistrements auto-declenchés,
effectuer I'étalonnage automatique (p. 17)
et agir sur les commandes de niveau
d'entrée par rapport au niveau
d'enregistrement probable. Pour la
reproduction auto-déclencheée, régler la
commande de niveau de sortie au volume
desiré. Vérifier si tous les composants ont
été préparés convenablement.
4. Pour les enregistrements auto-déclenches,
amener Je contacteur de chronocompteur
sur la position "rec" (enregistrement). Le
positionner sur "play" (reproduction) pour
la reproduction auto-déclenchée.
5. Reporter le moment de déclenchement
souhaite sur le chronocompteur,
6. Au moment présélectionné, le
chronocompteur déclenche l'alimentation
de tous les composants et le 68 2ZX
commence a enregistrer ou reproduire.
