GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS.-
This exercise machine is equipped
with a dynamo that makes use of the
energy produced by the user (while
exercising) to power the electronic
monitor and the brake controller.
This exercise machine also includes a
set of batteries that store enough
energy to keep the electronic monitor
operating for 60 seconds after the
exercise has finished.
Should the battery run down because
of an operational fault, it can be
recharged by using the adapter that is
supplied with the exercise machine.
To switch the monitor on, start doing
exercise with the machine.
IMPORTANT: To ensure that the
batteries operate correctly and last
longer it is advisable to recharge them
using the adapter supplied with the
machine.
ELECTRONIC MONITOR.-
STARTING.
In order to switch the monitor on it is
necessary to pedal so that the crank
spins at 15 r.p.m, as soon as it reaches
15 r.p.m the monitor will come on.
MAINS CONNECTION.
Insert the jack (m) for the transformer
into the connection hole (k) on the
main body (bottom, rear of
machine)
and
transformer (79) into a 220 V mains
supply, Fig.1.
To give you greater control over your
exercise, this electronic unit provides
simultaneous read-outs of speed,
distance, exercise time, calories burnt
and pulse rate.
If at any time during exercise you

press the START/STOP button then
all of the unit's functions will stop.
Pressing the START/STOP button
again will restart the machine.
The monitor will switch itself off
automatically if the unit stands idle for
more than 4 minutes.

MONITOR FUNCTIONS.-
This monitor has six keys: TEST,
ENTER, UP, DOWN, START/STOP,
MODE. The program level you have
selected is shown simultaneously in the
central section of the display. The six
windows at the bottom of the display
show
the
TIME;
DISTANCE;
(TARGET HEART RATE); PULSE
RATE. This monitor also has 1 manual
program, 6 pre-set exertion level
programs; 1 BODY FAT program; 4
Heart Rate Control programs; 1 user
defined programs.
With the monitor either stopped or
working you can alternate between the
(RPM/SPEED) and (DIST) window by
pressing the MODE key.
You can reset of all the values back to
zero by holding the START/STOP key
down for 3 seconds.
CHANGING FROM ONE WORK
MODE TO ANOTHER.-
This monitor allows you to work in 4
different modes: Manual, Program,
User and Pulse (TARGET HR). In
order to pass from one mode to
another,
press
button to stop the monitor, then press
RESET and, with the help of the ▲/▼
buttons, select the desired mode.
