8. Maintenance
8.1 Fault indications
The control panel supervises and identifies the relay. It monitors the state of:
• the power supply,
• the radio link,
• the anti-tamper contact.
If a fault has been memorised, the control panel issues a voice message to indicate the fault
following a system command e.g. ON/OFF (see control panel user manual).
The power fault is also indicated locally by the relay as it issues 3 short beeps.
Example: if the relay/control panel radio
link is lost, the control panel issues the
voice message:
8.2 Changing the battery
To change the battery:
1. Switch the system to installation mode using the control panel to enter:
master code
then
installer code
2. Loosen the 4 cover screws
and open the relay.
