FORCE MASTER 3
Electronic control
module (injection)
Force Master 3, the latest step
in the natural technological
evolution of Malossi fuel control
modules, allows a further increase
in performance with its in-depth
hardware and software revision. The
integration of the Lambda sensor
gives Malossi engineers dynamic
control of the air/fuel ratio in areas
where the lambda controller is
active. Therefore, it is possible
to diff erentiate the air/fuel ratio
between the idle and transmission
zones, thus obtaining faster engine
response during transitions. In
order to increase the accuracy of
the reading of the throttle position
sensor, a diff erential circuit was
used to improve the common
mode rejection ratio (CMMR)
of unwanted input signals that
normally pollute the positional
demand signal. Besides better
precision when reading the signal,
this configuration allows for a more
rapid interpretation of the actual
throttle position due to a reduction
of the filters normally used in a
typical circuit architecture. The
use of a new microprocessor
with a high calculation capacity
and the introduction of new
software strategies have created
an optimal synergistic eff ect
with the hardware. Particular
attention was given to improving
the user interface by adding a
graphic display that shows the
main functional parameters of the
device.
The following data can also be
displayed:

switches
• Map used
• Diagnostics status
• Firmware version
• Throttle calibration
• System status
• Motor RPM

The number of maps has increased
from the 4 available on Force
Master 2 to 8 current maps.
This allows a greater number of
tuning stages for each model.
The strong point of the entire
Force Master series is the synergy
between the various Malossi
mechanical components that
can be used to increase the
performance of the vehicle and
the fine tuning performed by
our technicians. The study of
