Caution: Disassembly of certain sub-assemblies can affect operation and safety, for example:
- when servicing the electrical power supply,
- when servicing the suspension arms and balancing system,
- when servicing the optical system of the copulas which are equipped with filters intended to eliminate radiations not visible
by the patient. The unit should not be operated, under any circumstances, without these filters.
For this type of service, contact the MAQUET SAS-approved product support service.
ANOMALY

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBABLE CAUSE
1 - Bulb failure or missing bulb.
2 - Mains power failure

- Each lighthead has its own
individual control.
- Improper bulb or overvoltage
condition.
1 - Average service life of
sterilizable handle: 100
sterilization cycles at 134°
± 4°C for 20 minutes.
2 - Maximum service life
exceeded / Handle is
deformed.
- Suspension tube not levelled.
- Unstable ceiling structure
- Brake misadjustment.
- Lack of lubrication

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Switch off power supply and replace bulb(s).
Check if another piece of equipment is operating on
the same electrical power system.
Call Service engineering department.
Check that all the power supplies
are properly switched on.
1) Ensure you are using bulbs recommended
by MAQUET SAS. Do not use bulbs used
with surgical lights of previous generation
(ANGENIEUX AX4-AX14) which are not
compatible for power and size.
2) Verify voltage at bulb terminals.

Replace handle
- Check level and ceiling structure.
- Call service engineering department.
- Proceed with Balance Adjustment (See Chap. 3.3).
