Foods that are steamed keep most of their nutrients and vitamins and are the-
refore ideal for a health-conscious diet. For steaming, put the foods into the stain-
less steel steaming tray. Pour broth or water into the cooking bowl and close the
lid. Leave the lid closed for the entire steaming process. Opening the lid unne-
cessarily lets the steam escape and prolongs cooking time.
Please proceed as follows:
1. Pour 3 Rice Cooker Duo Program mea-
suring cups of water or broth into the
cooking bowl. Fig. 1
2. Put the cooking bowl into the appli-
ance. Please ensure that its outer side is
clean and dry. Fig. 2
3. Put the foods you wish to steam directly into the stain-
less steel steaming tray. Fig. 3
Tip: Should the foods be so small that they might fall
through the holes in the steaming tray (f.e. peas), you
can put a sheet of baking paper on the bottom of the
tray. Punch tiny holes into the baking paper and lay the
foods on top. Caution: The baking paper should not
stick out over the edge of the steaming tray.
Caution: Only fill so many foods into the steaming tray
that the lid can still close perfectly.
4. Put the steaming tray into the cooking bowl. Fig. 4
5. Close the lid so that it locks into
place. Fig. 5
6. Plug the connection adapter into
the appliance jack. Then, connect
the power plug to a suitable power
outlet. Fig. 6
