Why is the unit not working?
COMMENT: It is easiest to clean the blender jar directly after use. Fill the blender
to approx. 3/4 full with clean, warm water. Place the lid with the filling cup on
top and run the motor for several seconds until the blade is clean, at the highest
speed. If the blended food contained oil, some detergent can be added to the
warm water. Take the blender jar off the base, drain it and rinse it out with run-
ning water.
1. Unplug unit from electrical outlet before each cleaning!
2. Wipe the blender base, rotary dial, and cord with a damp cloth or sponge.
To remove stubborn spots, use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser.
3. To clean jar, cutting blade assembly and gasket, remove the lid and filler cup
and rinse with hot soapy water and dry thoroughly. Do not submerge in water.
The blender jar can also be cleaned in the dishwasher. Attention: The cutting
blade assembly and gasket as well as the cover and filler lid are not
dishwasher-safe!
4. Reassemble all of the pieces. Attention: Do not forget to place the gasket of the
cutting blade assembly back into place!
5. Store the professional blender. Leave the lid slightly open so that no odour
forms in the blender jar.
Follow these steps for the proper storage when the unit is not used for longer
periods of time:
– Unplug unit and wind cord.
– Clean unit. Store unit in original packaging or otherwise protect it from dust.
– Store upright in a cool, dry location, out of reach of children.
If the unit does not function as desired, first read the following list. If your
problem is not indicated in the list, you can assume your unit has a defect. In
the event of faults, please contact your dealer or customer service.
If all of the safety instructions have been followed, the problem can lie with
the safety system, the bayonet lock of the unit. The device does not function if
the blender jar was not locked into the base or not locked in correctly. Check
whether all accessory parts are properly attached (you can find more infor-
mation in the corresponding chapters of these operating instructions). Switch
the unit off first!
