Omelets / Crepes:
Add eggs and salt, also water and milk if desired, spices and herbs and run
the blender at the highest speed for approx. 20 seconds. If the omelet is to be
prepared with flour, proceed as above and add flour (approx. 1-2 soup spoons)
through the lid opening during processing.
Vegetables:
When chopping vegetables which have little juice you should always add liquid.
When mixing solid ingredients you should always begin with a little bit of liquid.
We do not recommend making mashed potatoes in the blender jar because the
potato releases the starch it contains during blending and the result would be a
sticky mass. On the other hand, potatoes can be used with carrots to prepare
baby food. Also to bind a sauce or to be the foundation of a potato cream soup.
Fruits:
Depending on the fruit, it should be peeled or the pit removed and if necessary
cut in half, in quarters or in cubes. Liquid should be added depending on the
juice content.
Smoothies:
In addition to bananas, pineapples, peaches, apricots, raspberries, strawberries,
etc. which are particularly suitable, you can also prepare chocolate or coffee
smoothies. Use chocolate powder or instant coffee. Sugar according to taste.
Ice cubes can also be added to the blender jar to cool down mixtures. In
this case, only run the blender at a low speed and only when the ice has been
broken down evenly set to the highest level.
Crushing Ice:
Fill blender jar with 1 cup (250 ml) of ice cubes. Place lid on blender jar and
turn the dial to pulse. Allow blades to come to a complete stop between pulses.
Continue until ice is crushed to desired consistency.
Baby Food:
Note the nutritional guidelines appropriate to the child's age. Fill the blender
jar with 1 cup (approx. 250 g) of cooked fruits or vegetables. As needed,
add additional liquid such as water, milk or juice. Process at low for 10 sec-
onds or until the desired consistency has been reached.
