9. STORAGE
WARNING: Stop engine and allow to cool,
en
and secure the unit before storing or
transporting in a vehicle. Store unit and fuel in
GB
an area where fuel vapors cannot reach sparks
or open flames from water heaters, electric
motors or switches, furnaces, etc. Store unit
F
with all guards in place. Position so that any
sharp object cannot accidentally cause injury
D
to passersby. Store the unit out of reach of
children and other unauthorized persons.
E
1. Drain and clean the fuel tank in a well
ventilated area.
NL
2. Drain all fuel from tank into a container
approved for gasoline. Run engine until it
stops. This will remove all fuel-oil mix which
P
could become stale and leave varnish and
gum in the fuel system.
3. Cleaan all foreign material from the saw. Keep
GR
away from corrosive agents such as garden
chemicals and de-icing salts.
TR
4. Abide by all Federal and local regulations for
the safe storage and handling of gasoline.
Excess fuel should be used in other 2-cycle
CZ
engine powered equipment.
SK
CAUTION: It is important to prevent gum
deposits from forming in essential fuel
system parts such as the carburetor, fuel filter,
RUS
fuel hose, or fuel tank during storage. Alcohol
blended fuels (called gasohol or E10 or using
UK
ethanol, methanol) can attract moisture
which leads to fuel mixture separation and
formation of acids during storage. Acidic gas
PL
can damage the engine.
H
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Environmental protection should be a priority of
considerable importance when using the
LV
machine, for the benefit of both social cohesion
and the environment in which we live.
EST
- Try not to cause any disturbance to the
surrounding area.
- Scrupulously comply with local regulations
LT
and provisions for the disposal of oils, petrol,
batteries, filters, deteriorated parts or any
elements which have a strong impact on the
RO
environment. This waste must not be disposed
of as normal waste, it must be separated and
taken to specified waste disposal centres
where the material will be recycled.
26
Demolition and disposal
When the machine reaches the end of its service
life, do not dispose of it into the environment;
instead take it to a waste disposal centre.
Most materials used in the manufacture of the
machine are recyclable; all metals (steel,
aluminium, brass) can be delivered to a normal
recycling station. For information contact your
local waste recycling service. Waste disposal must
be carried out with respect for the environment,
avoiding soil, air and water pollution.
In all cases, applicable local legislation must
be complied with.
